This was a project focused on the pre-production methods that go into animation. The brief was to create an artbook that showcased an idea as if it were a pitch for a show or movie. The Deep is a project that explores the idea of a futuristic world where all of humanity lives under the sea. Though the setting is post-apocalyptic, I wanted it to feel more exciting and whimsical than dreary and bleak.
